Just Add Ink #100

Hi! Over at Just Add Ink, they're celebrating their 100th birthday challenge and so this weeks theme is - 'Just add crowns'. I actually dont own any stamp sets which have crowns or anything to that nature, so I had to think outside the square and came up with this cute box:



I know that these boxes have been around for a while now and I finally had a chance to make one. The box uses the pillow box die, but for my 'crown' shape I cut off all the extra bits on top to get a unified look and cut the bottom straight. The colours I've used are rose red, certainly celery, so saffron and some scrap brown. I embossed the rose red base with the final press embossing folder. The hearts and 'princess' were all cut out using the timeless type alphabet. My Hubby surprised me for Christmas by buying this secretly and it's now my new best friend! You can get the tutorial for the box here. 
I am loving the end result and I cant think of any little girl who wouldn't love to get this!

    Sarah this is absolutely gorgeous! Everything about this basket is so cute. The owl, the hearts, the princess .... All of it is wonderful.
