Hello! I'm so sorry for the late post - but things have been busy!
Ok onto my card for this weeks Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch:
The theme for this week is 'snow is coming' and the main panel on the sketch was to be patterned paper or stamped, so I went looking for a piece of DSP to suit. I found this one from the nordic noel pack and I love how soft and pretty it is.
I then went super simple for the rest of the card and used my Festival of Trees stamped in wild wasabi. I then heat embossed using a new to me powder called white pearl, by WOW. Oh my goodness this powder is stunning! It gives a beautiful pearly finish (this photo doesn't do it justice!) and softens the stamped image. I layered the image onto a wild wasabi oval and the sentiment is also embossed with the white pearl and is from Good Greetings.
Here's the sketch:
I hope you like my card and are able to join in with us this week.
Thank for looking :)

Motley Monsters - Part 3
Hello, hello! I hope you are having a great weekend. It's quite busy here, but I'm here to day to share the third card in my Motley Monsters series. You can see part 1 and part 2 by clicking on the links.
So my third card was actually inspired by this card by Brian King.
Here's my really simplified version:
How awesome is this pattern for Christmas? Love it! I teamed it up with some real red for a bit of pop. It's not normally a colour combo I would use, but I think it works - what do you think?
If you have any questions about any of the cards, just contact me and I can let you know the deets :)
Thanks for looking :)
