TSOT #116

Hi! It's time again for another sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I bought this cute dog stamp recently and thought I'd ink him up.

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

Sorry for the funny angle of the photo. I paper pieced this cute little guy with some scraps left on my table. I found this fun set of papers from Kaisercraft and this card came together relatively quickly - love that!

TSOT #115 - He Has Made Everything

Hi! Yep, it's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and even though this was one I created, I was kinda stumped when I had to create my card.

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

I used a few scraps to create this one - which is always a bonus! My colours are wild wasabi, melon mambo, so saffron and crumb cake. The dsp is embossed with vine street, the circles are from my 'scrap' pile and the butterflies are punched out using the bitty butterfly punch in melon mambo dsp. My sentiment is from Verve stamps and a few pearls to finish it off.

Now I know you'll want to check out the other design team creations, so click here to check them out. Dont forget to add your creation, as it's great seeing what you come up with :)

Any questions just ask.

TSOT #114

Hi! It's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. Again this is one I created and it seems to be my go-to sketch if I'm ever stuck.

 And my card:

My card is a little bit busier than normal. It all happened because I accidently ripped the certainly celery panel, but I didn't want to throw it away, so I tried to make it work. I used baja breeze as a base, the white, was crumpled for more texture and the baja breeze dsp was roughed round the edges for a distressed look. I used some pleated ribbon and a spare doily, cut in crumb cake I had on my table. The verse is from Verve and I stamped a flower from pocket silhouettes, in certain celery.

Now over to you, it's great seeing what you create and if you need more inspiration go here to see what the other design members have come up with.

Merry Monday #58 - Guest Designer

Hi! Well I'm honored this week to be a Guest Designer over at Merry Monday!!!

Here's the sketch we have to play with:

And my contribution:

I have varied the sketch a little, by pulling circle up a bit, so that I could use it highlight Mary and baby Jesus. I stamped the image in staz on onto watercolour paper, then masked it and brayered the background using bashful blue, baja breeze and marina mist. I then coloured the image with my aqua pen and then punched out my circle and layered onto so saffron with dimensionals. I coloured, fussy cut and mounted with dimensionals the star and covered it with glossy accents. If you have any question, just ask :)

Now I know you will want to check out the other amazing creations the design team have created. Thank you Lesley and girls for letting me share my card on your fantastic challenge :)

TSOT #113

Hi! It's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and I'm excited, as this week the sketch is from yours truly!

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

I recently bought the two new butterfly punches from Stampin' Up and thought I'd give them a work out :) I stamped the baja breeze with pocket silhouettes in versa mark and clear embossed them. I then ran it through the honeycomb EB folder. I stamped the white canter background with the words and spatter from french foliage in crumb cake and the butterflies are stamped in baja breeze and crumb cake.

Now over to you! Pop past the TSOT blog and check out the amazing creations from the design team and remember to load up your creation. It's fantastic seeing what you come up with!

Merry Monday #56

Hi! I had some time this morning, so thought I'd give the sketch over at Merry Monday a go.

I dont know why, but all I could see is trees and so I've taken a lot of creative license to create my card - hope thanks ok :)

I used my petite pennant punch to create the trees and used some jolly holiday dsp - I seriously think this paper has multiplied in my stash, as I never seem to get close to running out :)!

Go and check out the amazing creations and inspiration from the design team here - you wont be disappointed!

TSOT #112

Hello! It's time again for another fabulous sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I actually made TWO cards with this sketch.

I went with two sympathy cards, but I could easily change out the sentiment. These cards all came about because of this cool ribbon I found at my local scrap booking store and it only came in brown -not my favourite colour. SO the challenge for me was to use this fab ribbon on a creation and not just buy it because it looked cool and stash it in my draw, never to be seen again!!

Looking at both of these cards, I dont think I have a favourite :) - do you??
I have used various embossing folders, punches and stamps on both cards, so if you have any questions, just ask :)

Now I know you'll want to see the other AMAZING creations from the other design members, so check them out here. Then link up your creation, because it's great seeing what you come up with.

I also wanted to say a big thanks to every one who takes the time to leave a comment. I truly love reading them and they make my day :)

Thanks for looking and have a great week :)
