TSOT #114

Hi! It's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. Again this is one I created and it seems to be my go-to sketch if I'm ever stuck.

 And my card:

My card is a little bit busier than normal. It all happened because I accidently ripped the certainly celery panel, but I didn't want to throw it away, so I tried to make it work. I used baja breeze as a base, the white, was crumpled for more texture and the baja breeze dsp was roughed round the edges for a distressed look. I used some pleated ribbon and a spare doily, cut in crumb cake I had on my table. The verse is from Verve and I stamped a flower from pocket silhouettes, in certain celery.

Now over to you, it's great seeing what you create and if you need more inspiration go here to see what the other design members have come up with.

Thanks for looking :)

IBSIC #5 - Inspiration Photo

Good morning! I'm back with a card which I made for the Inspired by Stamping challenge. We had a photo to use as inspiration and were asked to use a doily, cream, kraft and pink. I recently purchased the dizzy doily from the Die-namics range and still had yet to use it! Here's the card I came up with:

I was actually pleased with how this card turned out. I kept it pretty clean and simple as I wanted the doily to be the main focus, but I did pull out my sewing machine to stitch a border and I used some vintage paper that came in the prize pack I won a while ago. The flowers are from Kaiser Craft - I'm so glad I found some mini flowers, as I struggle to use anything bigger :) The verse is from Verve.

Here's the inspiration photo we had to use:

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
