Hi Guys,
Well it's been about 6 months since I have posted here. I took some time off from my Try Stampin' - or not - On Tuesdays design duties - well actually crafting in general, to study. But now I'M BACK!!
So here's my card for this weeks challenge:
I thought the sentiment was quite fitting for my first card back - although every time I see it, I get the Adele song in my head :)
Ok, so here's the sketch we have to work with:
We hope you are inspired to join in with us this week. It's great seeing what every one creates!
Thanks for looking.

TSOT #231 - Bermuda Butterfly
Hello, hello! It's time again for another Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday challenge and this week the sketch is from yours truly. We also have an added challenge of 'Watercolour'.
So here's my card for this week:
I didn't know if I would actually finish this card as my week was busy, but I'm super pleased with how it turned out.
I started with lightly water colouring my tag in bermuda bay ink. My embossed background was actually a mistake. I wanted the same tone all over, but didn't mix enough embossing paste with my ink, so thus I created an ombre look - and love the look even more! My butterflies were cut from bermuda bay card and vellum and layered together and the sentiment is from Cottage Greetings. Oops! I just realised I left of the strip down the bottom ;)
I love this card for being able to show the versatility and possibilities for stretching your stash and only using 2 colours (and these just happen to be my teams colours :)
Ok so want to play along? Well here is the sketch:
And we look forward to seeing what you come up with :)
Thanks for looking

Bold Baby - TSOT #225
Hello, It's time again for this weeks Try Stampin' - or not - On Tuesday and this week it is a sketch from yours truly :)
We also have a theme that you can also use with the sketch and this week its "Baby".
I don't really need too many baby cards at the moment, so I made my card so that I could use it for a baby or another occasion.
I went bold and clean! -- If you have any questions, just ask, but I think it's pretty self explanatory.
Here's the sketch:
We hope that you are able to join us this week and it's awesome seeing your creations!

TSOT #223
Hi! It's time for this weeks Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday challenge. We're going with a theme of "RAIN" this week.
Now if you saw my card from last challenge (Here) you would know it was quick, simple and easy. Well this time round - totally different story and I still don't think I like it -ARGH!
Any ways, here is my contribution:
Yep, I still feel 'meh' about it :) But we all have cards like that don't we?
Well I hope you are able to join us for this challenge - I do love seeing how you all interpret the challenge.

Try Stampin' #221 - A Quick Card
Hello! It's time again for a Try stampin' On Tuesday challenge. Today we are mixing things up with a colour challenge.
So my extra challenge to you is to create a card which is made quickly.
As always, post your card to the TSOT Blog or the TSOT Facebook Page, its fantastic seeing all your creations!
Thanks for looking :)
Yellow, Blue & Green
A great colour combo, but one I don't use too often.
So the story behind my card was: I thought about what I wanted to do, got a sketch in my head, then left it really late to get it done! So I do apologize for the quality of the picture :)
I made this card and photographed it within 20 mins!
The good creating a card so quickly, is there is no time for ahing and uming about what you are doing.

TSOT #209
Hello, Hello! I totally forgot that I had to post this card, we had a public holiday here on Monday, so I'm so mixed up! Any way, here is my card for this weeks Try Stampin' On Tuesday.
I am loving this flower stamp from Indescribable Gift. I embossed the image onto vellum in white, then turned it over and coloured with my blendabilities. I used my dies to create some frames in wild wasabi, and covered them with wink of Stella. Then I finished with some ribbon which I had cut down. I love how soft and pretty the flowers look using this way of colouring.
And here's the sketch for this week from yours truly!
Now over to you - I hope you can join us this week!

Congrats!
Hi again! I know - dont fall off your seats - 2 posts in a week - WHAT!
Any ways :) Here's another card from my watercolouring session.
Any ways :) Here's another card from my watercolouring session.
I used melon mambo, crushed curry and bermuda bay inks and the sentiment is from 'Your perfect day'. I actually cut this stamp set up as I really loved the 'Congrats' sentiment and would use it a lot more than the full sentiment and I'm lazy, so trimming it is easier than masking it every time ;)
So tell me, do you ever trim your stamps to suit your crafting?
Thanks for looking xx

Motley Monsters Part 2
Hi! Welcome back to my second card using the Motley Monster designer paper. As I previously said, halloween isn't really a big thing here in Australia, so I wanted to be able to utilize this paper for other occasions.
When cutting this DSP, make sure that you cut a piece which has no eyes (unless you want them :) This card is a little darker than what I'm used to, but I like this look for the guys in our lives or for that lady who doesn't do frilly.
If you want to check out the first card in this series then click here. Also if you are looking for some sketch inspiration, you can see all the sketches I have done for Try Stampin' On Tuesday on my pintrest board, HERE.
Thanks for looking and come back in a few days and I'll show you card number three.

TSOT #179
Hello! Well I'm flying past here to share my creation for this weeks Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch.
I loved how simplistic or how complex you could take this sketch. As you can see I went very simple :)
I coloured the flower from Bouquet Toss in rich razzleberry and old olive blendabilities. I used some retired polka dot dsp and I coloured some pearls in rich razzleberry to co ordinate - seriously loving those pens :)
We hope you can join us this week - it's fantastic seeing your creations.

TSOT #169 - Amazing You
Hi! Well I can slowly feel the start of winter. It's been so nice having unseasonably warm weather, but today is bleak and raining - can you tell I dont like the winter too much ;)
Any way, I'm sharing my card for this weeks sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. The twist, if you choose to use it is girlfriends.
Any way, I'm sharing my card for this weeks sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. The twist, if you choose to use it is girlfriends.
I changed the sketch slightly and after lots of fussing and trying to make it look 'right', I went with a clean & simple look.
The my colour combo is wisteria wonder, crumb cake and pear pizazz. My image is coloured with markers and the sentiment is stamped in elegant eggplant, as I thought it need just a little bit more oomph. I made the butterfly by punching two butterflies in vellum and one butterfly on wisteria wonder card and layered them all together and finished with a jumbo pearl.
Not too sure which friend this will go to - I'm sure it wont stay in my stash for too long :)
We hope you are able to join us this week over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, it's fantastic seeing all your amazing creations.

Quick and Easy Card
Hello, Well I'm on the home stretch of my 'to blog' folder. Today I'm sharing a card that came together really quickly and could be for any occasion.
I think this went to one of my DD's friends for their birthday. The dsp is retired now, but seriously if you have any scraps laying around, this is a quick and easy way to use them up!
Thanks for looking.

TSOT #155
Hello, It's time for a Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch, from yours truly :)
I hope you have time to play along with us this week.
Thanks for looking.
The twist this week was either flowers or hearts. I recently purchased the So Very Grateful stamp set and the new in colours, so they were my stating point. I coloured the flowers strawberry slush & crisp cantaloupe & the leaves are done in pistachio pudding.
I hope you have time to play along with us this week.
Thanks for looking.

I Seem to do Things in 2...
... not really sure why, but pulling through some pics in my 'to blog' folder, I've noticed I would make cards in two's.
For this set of cards I used the ever elegant Pleasant Poppies:
For this set of cards I used the ever elegant Pleasant Poppies:
I stamped the poppies in white ink onto certainly celery card stock (retired) and then heat embossed in white. The first card I ran a versa mark pen around the flowers - not sure if I like it or not. I used soft suede for the sentiments, so saffron dsp and a red button from my stash to add a bit of 'pop'.
These are really cute in real life and since looking at them in this post, I'm going to say that the second card is my favourite - what's yours?
Thanks for stopping by :)

Same Sketch
Good morning!! Thought I'd quickly pop past and share these very simple cards - I'm still pulling a few pics from my 'to blog' folder - eeek!
I used the same sketch, just mixed it up a little. Both of these circle elements were pre stamped, just waiting for me to make them into a card (I throw away very little :) I also was able to use up some long retired dsp - always a bonus :)

Pleasant Poppies
Hi! I'm still sharing card that were in my 'to blog' folder and this one is one of my favorites. I made this for my Aunty, who created this amazing cross stitch for me. (sorry for the bad pic)
So I wanted to make a special card for her to say thank you. I fell in love with this card by Teneale Williams and thought it would be perfect.
I coloured the poppies in rose red and built up the colour and used old olive on the stems. I outlined the image with now retired baja breeze ink and used the words from French Foliage (retired) stamp set to distress and add depth to the image panel. The embossed panel is embossed with the vintage wallpaper EB folder (retired) and I sponged the edges in crumb cake. I used rose red seam binding and vanilla ribbon from my stash.
With this being a special card, I did even stamp on the inside - a rare thing for me :) I think my Aunty loved the card, but I also had a great time making this one.
Any question just ask and thanks for looking.
