TSOT #114

Hi! It's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. Again this is one I created and it seems to be my go-to sketch if I'm ever stuck.

 And my card:

My card is a little bit busier than normal. It all happened because I accidently ripped the certainly celery panel, but I didn't want to throw it away, so I tried to make it work. I used baja breeze as a base, the white, was crumpled for more texture and the baja breeze dsp was roughed round the edges for a distressed look. I used some pleated ribbon and a spare doily, cut in crumb cake I had on my table. The verse is from Verve and I stamped a flower from pocket silhouettes, in certain celery.

Now over to you, it's great seeing what you create and if you need more inspiration go here to see what the other design members have come up with.

Thanks for looking :)

TSOT #113

Hi! It's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and I'm excited, as this week the sketch is from yours truly!

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

I recently bought the two new butterfly punches from Stampin' Up and thought I'd give them a work out :) I stamped the baja breeze with pocket silhouettes in versa mark and clear embossed them. I then ran it through the honeycomb EB folder. I stamped the white canter background with the words and spatter from french foliage in crumb cake and the butterflies are stamped in baja breeze and crumb cake.

Now over to you! Pop past the TSOT blog and check out the amazing creations from the design team and remember to load up your creation. It's fantastic seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for looking :)

Just Add Ink 77 - Sketch Challenge

What a busy week! I didnt think that I would have been able to get any creating done, but I did manage to make a card for this weeks challenge at Just Add Ink.

I did take some creative license with the middle square being bigger and turned into a diamond. I think if I did the card again I wouldn't have put the second smaller flower in, but it still works (I think).
Thanks for looking.
