TSOT #160 - Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to our blog hop! The designers at Try Stampin' On Tuesday have created a little blog hop for you to enjoy. Also there is a prize up for grabs if you go through the hop and leave a comment on each designers blog. You would have come from Sara H and her stunning card.

Anyway, onto my card:

I decided to use the twist with this weeks card, which was to add a masculine touch - to add to my depleting stash. I did still want it to be bright, so I pulled out my colour coach and settled on old olive, night of navy and daffodil delight.

I kept it rather CAS and with little bulk, as guy's dont really seem to always appreciate huge amounts of embellishments and it's always helpful when a card can be sent as a standard letter :)

I used my six sided sampler stamp set and stamp-a-ma-jig to create the panel and my sentiment is from sweet essentials.

We would love to see you play along with us this week, you dont have to use the twist, just use the sketch as your inspiration.

Your next stop on the hop is Shell and her adorable creation.

Thanks for looking and happy hopping

Stampin' Retreat

Last year back in July, Nicole who was my Stampin' Up! demo (now my up line) invited me to a retreat she had organised for a few of her stamping friends. I was so glad I went, because the talent that was there was amazing and we managed to pull together almost every item in the catalogue! So of course I wanted to try stamp sets, punches, embossing folder and anything else I hadn't had my hands on.

These two cards were made using the six sided sampler and some retired dsp. I embossed the front panel with the Alphabet Press EB folder. I think they are cute and quite easy to create. I should also make a note that I now own every thing to make this card - hehe.

Any questions just ask and thanks for looking
