Just Add Ink #134 - Polka Dots

Hi! I wanted to join in with Just Add Ink this week, as the challenge was to use polka dots. Now not sure about you, but polka dots are my 'go to' when it comes to patterns.
Here's my creation:

This is actually a spin off a tri fold card from Shelli. As soon as I saw her card, I knew I wanted to give it a go. I changed the shapes to the framelits labels and I used marina mist and rose red for my polka dot DSP, a so saffron which I dry embossed with the perfect polka dot EB folder. I framed my sentiment framelit with some silver glimmer paper, I added some silver pearls down one side and tied it all together with some pear pizzaz seam binding. I used crumb cake for my base and matted it onto some rose red. I was pretty happy with the end result, and will definitely make a few more of these in the future.

Thanks for looking :)

  1. I agree polka dots are a great 'go to' for a background as it can be use for such a variety of card styles and types. Thanks for joining in with this week's challenge at Just Add Ink.

  2. Fabulous, Sarah! The silver glimmer paper looks so beautiful against the Rose Red. Love all the colours, and polka dots, in your card. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week!

  3. Oh love all the sparkles and bright polka dots!
