Just Add Ink 82

I love this weeks challenge at Just Add Ink, they want us to go through our stash and find something that had every intention of being used, but never saw light of day. Well I fell in love with this paper I found in a wedding stationary shop about 2 years ago. I intended to make special cards for friends who were getting married, but never got to using it... SO here are the cards and few years late :)

I wanted to let the paper speak for itself and I found this old Mojo Monday (Sketch #176) that I thought was perfect.

The patterned paper on this card is metallic with a flocked, velvety feel by Cristina Re. I love the luscious feel of this paper.

I actually loved the base colour with this card, I teamed it up with another piece of paper that was in the depth's of my stash. I think this patterned paper is also done by Cristina Re.

Here's the sketch:

Thanks for looking!

  2. I like how you have edged the DSP with a line of flowers and it makes the greeting look like it is peeking out from underneath. Thanks for playing this week at Just Add Ink.

  3. What gorgeous paper - I can see that I wouldn't want to use it - I'd just take it out
periodically and stroke it! Lovely card.
