JAI 95 - Bah Humbug

Oh boy, it's been a while since I have played along with Just Add Ink. I was determined to sit down and join in on their challenge, which was to create a Christmas project with no Christmas paper or stamp set except for a sentiment. I took the 'no Christmas paper' quite literally, as I also scrapped traditional Christmas colors all together.

I've used melon mambo, daffodil delight and tempting turquoise as my main colours and the trees are old olive and crumb cake. For the background I used "Bliss" stamp set and inked it in melon mambo and stamped using my stamp-a-ma-jig to get every thing looking straight. My trees are from "Trendy trees" and the sentiment is from "Best yet". I had a lot of fun creating this card, as the colours were so summery and kind of fitting for an Aussie Christmas (well I think so :)

Thanks for looking and pop past Just Add Ink to see all the other amazing creations!

  3. Ohh, this is cute. I love the bright colours you've used. I must make an inventory of my sentiments, I forgot I had this one. Thanks for playing along at JAI this week.

  4. Fabulous card Sarah. Trendy trees is a great Chrissy card idea - hope you don't mind if I 'borrow' it sometime soon. Thanks so much for finding the time to join us at Just Add Ink this week.
