Sunny Creations Guest Designer - 039/12

Hi! I was asked to be a guest designer for this weeks challenge at Sunny Challenges and Creations. We were asked to use the sketch along with the colours tempting turquoise, melon mambo and soft suede.

Now the best thing about a challenge is that it challenges you... and these colours threw me for a while :) until I started playing around with them. I dont think I've ever used soft suede with any other colour but old olive... So it was great to step out of my comfort zone.

I love how diverse this sketch is and is one I will use in the future. I used the pendants from 'Party this Way' and used my 1/16" hole punch, then threaded some crochet twine through to 'hang' my pendants.
I used the decorative label punch for the mat behind the sentiment. Here's a video to show you how it's done. The tempting turquoise and melon mambo panels are all dry embossed with the 'perfect polka dots' EB folder.

Go on over to Sunny Challenges and Creations and check out all the other amazing creations the design team have come up with and join in on the fun!

Thanks for looking and have a great day :)

  1. Lovely bright fun card! I like your altered decorative label punch and your pennants. My pennant punch is somewhat neglected I must confess.... :)

  2. Sarah this is a beautiful creation. Love what you have done with the pennants too. Mine are very much neglected I am afraid, and after seeing this I will have to bring them back into the fold. Thank you so much for being a guest designer with us this week at Sunny Challenges and Creations.

  3. This is such a pretty card. I found this challenge really difficult but your card makes me wonder why. Love the hanging pennants and the way you have used Soft Suede only as an accent colour. Beautiful job. Thanks for being a Guest Designer for Sunny Challenges this week.

  4. What a great card sarah. Love what you have created with the colours & sketch, especially the way you have threaded the twine through the pennants. Sad to say my punch has never been used too. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at Sunny Challenges & Creations.
