Freshly Made Sketches #32

Hi! Recently I was asked to make some cards for a relative, and one needed to be a male card. I decided to go over at Freshly Made Sketches for some inspiration and I got it :)

Here's the sketch:

I made the card C6 size and used some retired DSP from my stash. I used my nestabilities to create my circles and did some sponging in crumb cake to get a bit more depth on the image circle. The tree is from 'Lovely as a Tree' and it's stamped in chocolate chip. I used some kitchen twine for the detail on the green panel and added some small silver brads.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. It's a great "man's card" Sarah. I love the way you sponged over the tree, it looks gorgeous (in a manly way LOL). Thanks for playing at FMS this week.
