Good morning! So far so good, eh? If you follow me you will know that I'm trying to blog more this year and so far I'm not going too badly :)
Today I have a card that I created for a closed challenge site.
I love grey and white for a modern colour combo and love how the rose red flower just adds that extra bit of 'pop' and the leaves are from the bird builder punch. One tip I will give you is look at you punches, see if there are different shapes or uses you can see. You will get many more miles if you play around with your punches to create different shapes and sizes.
Any ways, as always thanks for looking :)

ABSC048 - Sketch Challenge
Hi, just quickly passing by to show you my entry for this weeks Annabelle Stamps challenge.
Heres the sketch:
Here's what I created:
I tried to challenge myself and use this paper which I have had hoarded for ages. Not sure about you, but I bought this paper because I loved it, but I struggle to use it on a card - any one else out there who buys paper then comes home and cant seem to use it?!
Even with the sketch simple and one I'll use again, I feel as though there is something missing. But I'm proud that I have cut into this paper and used it on a card!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Just Add Ink 86 - Sketch Challenge
Over at Just Add Ink they have a sketch for this weeks challenge. I must admit I struggled with this one, I looked at it from all different angles and nothing 'poped'. So, I decided to keep it as is and came up with this:
I'm still not too sure about it. I'm not one to use much bling and as you can see, there's a lot! I actually had a rhinestone flourish in my stash, and just cut it up and tucked it behind my circle until I was happy. The circle originally had no hearts around it, but it was looking a little bland, so I added the hearts from the owl builder and glued 2 mm rhinestones on every second heart. The cakes are coloured using my blender pen and I used my staz on for the sentiment, as I think it gives it a richer black. My main colours are marina mist, so saffron, certainly celery and rose red.

I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge 6
I have been following Nina's blog for quite some time now and I adore her work. So I wanted to join in with her ribbon challenge she has going. This challenge was to use two or more ribbons on the one project. Heres my card:
This was a challenge for me, as I generally only use one ribbon on my cards and I completely stepped out of my comfort zone and went bright colours (hence all the white and simplicity of the card)
If you have time go and check out Nina's blog, you'll be sure to find some inspiration. Thanks for looking!
